Why We Built This Site
Georgia gives the public broad access to many public records, but the correct office depends on the record. In Cherokee County, Patty Baker's Clerk of Courts handles Superior, State, and Magistrate Court filings, while Probate Court handles marriage licenses, estates, guardianships, and conservatorships. The Sheriff's Office handles jail and law enforcement records, and city courts may hold municipal traffic or ordinance files.
The goal is to make those paths easier to sort by record type, court, office, fee, and request method.

- Records pages by type: court records, dockets, criminal court records, arrest records and charges, inmate records, warrant records, traffic records, marriage and divorce, probate, and clerk access.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected to Cherokee County, any Georgia court, the Clerk of Courts, Probate Court, the Sheriff's Office, or any state agency. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:
- We cannot file court papers or records requests for anyone.
- We cannot issue certified copies of court, probate, marriage, divorce, jail, or law enforcement records.
- We cannot provide legal advice or interpret how Georgia law applies to a specific case.
- We cannot guarantee that each fee, address, phone number, or procedure is current at the moment of use.
Only the issuing court or government office can provide an official certified copy with seal or authentication.
